This posting is a tribute to my granddaughter Sarah. We are so very proud of her hard work playing JV basketball for Davison and keeping good grades. No matter what Sarah decides to do in her life she put her very best effort into it.
Sarah has practise twice a week and a basketball game twice a week. Now you may think that's not that bad, but she still has to keep her studies up by keeping up with her homework. She is a NHS at Davison and she goes above and beyond to keep her grades up.
Sarah is at school 7 AM and most days does not return home until 5 PM. On game night she must be at the high school at 4:30 or 5 PM depending if the basketball game is a home game or away. If I call Sarah on days she gets home from school earlier she is usually already doing her homework. If she doesn't have time when she gets home to do her homework then she must do it on the bus going to the game or after her game while the Varsity team is playing.
All of us go to the games, we cheer, laugh and talk but Sarah is putting lots of physical and mental work into playing with her team mates on the JV basketball team and keeping her grades up.

Also, Sarah did made both her free throw shots if you viewed the picture above. Davison won the game against Kearsley. Davison 52 Kearsley 45.
Sarah my hat goes off to you for all the hard work. Your the best! We will LOVE you always!
