EXERCISE CLASS

This morning was my eleventh exercise class. We have exercise class twice a week on Monday and Wednesday. I have been going to this class every since we've been coming down to Gulf Shores except one year.

Gail our leader is from Midland and goes to a senior exercise classes in Michigan. I can't say enough about her. She contributes her time each Monday and Wednesday morning for no pay.

She leads us in stretches, aerobic and weight exercises for seniors. We start out with aerobic to warm up. Then onto stretches. Next comes the weights. Then back to floor exercises on our mat and we end with cool down. We are in class for an hour. The class is open to males and females but only women attend. Her husband, Joe comes when he's not playing golf to help run the tape recorder.

The recorder gives us the right kind of music to preform all these exercises. We started out slow with only 6 reps of each exercise now we have gradually reached 8 reps. Before we end we'll be doing 10 reps.

Once we're finished it makes you feel so good. It's not about how well you preform these exercises but it gets us moving, stretching and it's a great way to meet some fellow campers.

"Goodbye until later".

I am proud of you for keeping at your exercise regiment. It is sometimes easy to skip a day. . but you are always walking, biking or attending exercise class. Keep up the good work!
